Student Opportunities at HUSCO

HUSCO International, Inc. is proud of its continuing partnership with schools throughout the United States that provides internships and Co-op job opportunities. The benefits to both the students and the company have been invaluable.

We recruit highly motivated, technically competent, and results-oriented individuals. Students fill real project needs in the organization, and become productive, responsible members of their teams.

For students, this is a hands-on opportunity to combine academic knowledge with ‘real world’ experience in a high tech organization. It is also an opportunity for students to make professional contacts and build relationships in the business and professional world. Students and HUSCO have a unique opportunity to assess a long term career fit.

For the company, we have a significant role in training and observing first-hand the individuals who may one day fill full-time professional roles at HUSCO. In addition, HUSCO has the opportunity to work with, learn from, and sometimes advise some of the schools on the technical and soft skills needed in our industry. HUSCO also benefits from the latest academic information and experiences the students bring to us from a rich diversity of local, state, and national colleges and universities.

Engineering Co-op Students
Engineering students are hired for a semester at a time, and may alternate work terms at HUSCO with school terms at college. Often students return to HUSCO for several semesters.

Summer Interns
Summer interns are utilized extensively throughout the company during the summer. In addition to general engineering and manufacturing engineering, interns have worked in purchasing, quality, sales and marketing, information services, and other department areas where needed.
